After selling 90,000 tickets nationwide (including Canada) Wiz has finally made his way back to Pittsburgh for an epic 2 night concert featuring Pittsburgh’s hottest young emcee Mac Miller. Both have been touring and both have been ripping the blogs apart, Mac’s buzz (since joining the Smokers Club Tour) has grown immensely.

Along with being a rising star, Wiz Khalifa is one of the years “fastest rising queries” on Google.

The Pittsburgh rapper came in at No. 3, just behind pop stars Justin Bieber and Ke$ha in the “People” category of Google’s Zeitgeist list. It tracks people, events and items by comparing search data from one year to the next to calculate which searches rose the fastest. Khalifa was No. 3 in People as well as Music.

Khalifa, an Allderdice alum, currently has the No. 14 hit in the country with “Black and Yellow,” the first single from an Atlantic Records debut due in the spring. Read More
